What You Need to Know
Which areas do you cover?
Northern Portugal: Aveiro, Porto and the Douro Valley, and also Braga and Viseu. Small repairs (BTS Resolve) cover the Douro Valley, Aveiro and Porto. Tell us where the property is and we confirm.
Can you assess my property if I live abroad?
Yes. The site visit is free, and we can do the assessment by video call so you do not need to travel. You receive the written quote by email and follow the work through weekly photo and video updates.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on the scope: a kitchen or bathroom about 2–6 weeks, a full house renovation 3–6 months, a new build 8–14 months. Your written quote includes the planned timeline.
What happens if unexpected work is found?
Old buildings sometimes hide problems, such as rotten beams or damaged pipes behind walls. We stop, show you photos and send a separate written variation with the price. Nothing is done or charged without your approval.
Do you give a warranty on your work?
Yes. Our work is covered by the legal warranty under Portuguese law, and the terms are written in your quote. If a defect appears that is our responsibility, we come back and repair it at no cost.
How does pricing work?
After a free site visit or video assessment, we send a detailed written quote with itemised costs. The price for the agreed work is what you pay — no hidden charges, no pressure.
Are you a licensed contractor?
Yes. We hold IMPIC licence (alvará) n.º 115511 - PUB under Portuguese construction law, and we are fully insured.
What services do you offer?
New builds, full renovations, restoration of old stone houses, kitchens and bathrooms, roofs and waterproofing, pools, masonry and retaining walls, small repairs (BTS Resolve) and HomeCare maintenance plans.
Can I visit the site during construction?
Yes, you are welcome on site at any time. If you are abroad, we schedule video walkthroughs and send photos every week.
